Aliness Lithium 5 mg does not contain any animal ingredients, therefore it is a source of lithium suitable for vegans, in the form of a well-absorbed, organic salt - lithium orotate. The product does not contain any artificial technological additives, preservatives or dyes.
One tablet contains 135 mg of lithium orotate, of which 5 mg of lithium.
What is lithium?
Lithium is a valuable trace element that occurs naturally in the form of salt. It belongs to the same family of alkali metals as potassium and sodium - therefore in nature it also occurs in analogous compounds. The medical applications of this valuable mineral go back to the nineteenth century, where it was used, among others in relieving depression, and is now also available as a food supplement in the form of an organic salt - lithium orotate.
Aliness Lithium is obtained from natural brine springs and from igneous rocks. The two main sources of lithium in the world are Kings Mountain, North Carolina, and the Andes salt desert in Chile.
